This role involves developing and executing account and territory strategies for distributing TruStage Annuities, focusing on acquisition, optimization, and retention of business within the Pacific Northwest region. It requires building strong relationships with investment advisors, broker dealers, and internal teams to drive sales growth and market share.
Location: Pacific Northwest, including WA, OR, WY, UT, ID, and MT, ideally within Pacific or Mountain Time Zone.
Salary: $48,800.00 - $81,300.00
Responsibilities
- Develop and expand advisor relationships to support sales of TruStage Annuities via virtual and face-to-face channels.
- Build and maintain positive business relationships with investment advisors and broker dealers, providing sales support and product education.
- Support product questions, follow up on information requests, and troubleshoot issues for advisors.
- Participate in marketing activities such as field schools, training meetings, and trade shows to promote products.
- Support regional sales leadership with marketing plans, funding allocation, and sales strategies.
- Maintain strong product knowledge and understanding of industry, economic, and competitor information.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or equivalent professional experience.
- 3-5 years of sales, marketing, or customer service experience in the financial industry.
- Strong knowledge of investment and/or insurance products.
- Demonstrated sales & marketing knowledge of annuities and variable products.
- FINRA Series 6 or 7 and 63 licenses, Life and Variable Licenses required.
- Industry designations such as CPA, CFA, ChFC, CLU are a plus.
- Strong communication skills, both oral and written.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and make decisions on resource allocation.
- Highly motivated, independent, and able to work under pressure.
- Ability and willingness to travel up to 30%.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and territory management skills.
- Working knowledge of office automation tools; experience with contact management tools is a plus.
