The Art Supervisor (AS) is a key member of the creative team, responsible for leading concept and art/design development across various projects, ensuring strategic and creative expectations are met, and maintaining brand standards within the pharmaceutical and healthcare communication channels.

Responsibilities
- Lead and elevate art/design across the team, adding value wherever possible.
- Provide constructive feedback to junior creatives to advance their work.
- Possess strong conceptual skills with the ability to bring a wide range of creative solutions.
- Lead art direction across projects of varying scope, complexity, and channels.
- Estimate individual hours for projects.
- Use advanced design principles to create compelling data visualizations.
- Understand and work towards utilization targets.
- Apply accessibility best practices.
- Mentor and grow junior team members.
- Grow knowledge of clients’ business and impact of work.
- Collaborate with planning, UX, and development teams.
- Develop strong relationships with cross-functional teams.
- Confidently present and sell ideas to clients.
- Contribute to new business efforts.
- Develop multichannel creative with strategic and conceptual strength.
- Experience with launches, label updates, etc.
- Demonstrate commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, Advertising, or related field.
- 6+ years of design experience within an agency, including 2-3 years in pharma.
- Proven ability to lead concept and art/design development.
- Experience as a liaison between creative teams and account teams.
- Solid understanding of FDA regulations and pharmaceutical promotion requirements.
- Knowledge of marketing and advertising principles.
- Expertise in presenting and defending work.
- Leadership skills, including workload monitoring and intervention.
- Ability to lead and elevate design and art direction.
- Experience with DTC/DTP, highly conceptual design, Adobe Creative Suite, and Figma.
