The Senior Commercial Contracts Counsel will serve as a key legal advisor supporting all company verticals, focusing on drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a broad range of commercial contracts, especially licensing and complex agreements. The role involves providing strategic legal guidance to facilitate business objectives while ensuring compliance and protecting the company's interests.

Salary: $150,000 - $175,000
Responsibilities
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of commercial agreements—including licensing, partnership, vendor, and client contracts—across all business segments, ensuring terms support business goals and mitigate risk.
- Lead negotiations on complex licensing arrangements and other commercial transactions, balancing business needs with company policies and regulatory standards.
- Identify and address legal, privacy, security, and compliance considerations throughout the contract lifecycle; collaborate with cross-functional teams and key stakeholders to resolve issues efficiently.
- Provide day-to-day legal support to business stakeholders on commercial contracting matters.
- Partner with sales, procurement, product, privacy, and security teams to identify and address legal and compliance considerations in commercial transactions.
Requirements
- J.D. (or equivalent) and admission to practice in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
- 5+ years of experience drafting and negotiating B2B commercial contracts in preferably in market research.
- Strong knowledge of IP, content usage, and data licensing principles.
- Demonstrated understanding of data flows.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills; ability to present risk trade‑offs clearly.
