Associate Teacher APAC - Data Analytics

Location: Remote (APAC hours)

Responsibilities

• Teaching Data Analytics workshops to APAC-based adult learners via virtual sessions
• Honing teaching skills and understanding of teaching theory
• Collaborating with Learner Success Coaches to support learner progress
• Reviewing exercises and learning materials before sessions
• Familiarizing with course content and filling knowledge gaps
• Delivering engaging and inclusive virtual workshops that cater to different learner levels

Requirements

• Experience teaching, coaching, or tutoring in Maths, Physics, Data Science, or related subjects
• Confident in Python programming
• Based in Asia Pacific and able to deliver workshops between 08:30 - 17:30 HKT
• Strong communication skills and ability to motivate learners
• Highly organized and motivated
• Experience with Data Analysis topics such as Python programming, Data Manipulation, Statistics, Data Storytelling, Data Modelling, SQL, Data Architecture, Time Series, Machine Learning

Additional Information

• Role reports to the Product Resource Manager and works closely with the Learner Success Coach and UK Product Team.
• Payment is hourly based on experience, invoiced monthly.
• Application involves submitting a portfolio, recording a micro teach, and a final interview.
• Role requires background checks including DBS clearance.
