They are seeking a Database Engineer to support their product, software, and services implementations, focusing on database development, system integration, and performance optimization.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize complex SQL and PL/SQL scripts for large-scale database environments.
• Develop and maintain Core Java applications and RESTful APIs for seamless data exchange.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration sessions to translate business needs into technical specifications.
• Optimize database performance, indexing, and partitioning using Oracle DB backend concepts.
• Ensure solutions align with RDBMS principles, maintaining data integrity, security, and scalability.
• Read, analyze, understand, and update legacy database queries, Java code, and enhance it.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related engineering field.
• 4+ years of professional experience in database development and backend engineering.
• Expert-level SQL and PL/SQL; experience with large-scale Oracle DB environments.
• Proficiency in Core Java and building/consuming REST APIs.
• Strong grasp of RDBMS fundamentals and relational modeling.
• Exceptional communication skills working across departments (Product, QA, DevOps).
