Bilingual Credit Reporting And Disputes Associate (Portuguese)

Location: Remote/anywhere within the US

Salary: $24.69/hr plus a bonus

Responsibilities

• Research, investigate, and resolve customer complaints and credit reporting disputes through multiple channels including phone, written correspondence, and eOSCAR.
• Partner with subject matter experts to research issues, validate findings, and drive effective resolution.
• Communicate with customers by phone and in writing to gather information, explain findings, and provide updates and resolutions.
• Accurately document disputes and complaints to support regulatory compliance and audits.
• Identify and escalate complex cases, risks, or trends to management.
• Ensure ongoing compliance with federal and state laws including FCRA, ECOA, UDAAP, Fair Lending, and other consumer protection laws.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Associate’s degree in business or a related field.
• Minimum 3+ years of experience in financial services, with exposure to credit reporting, consumer complaints, or regulatory compliance.
• Self-starter with sound judgment within policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive, solution-oriented attitude and team support.
• Proficiency in Portuguese and Spanish.
