Bookkeeping Specialist - Part-Time (Bilingual English & Spanish)

Location: Remote (US)

Salary: $25-27/hr + full benefits

Responsibilities

• Supports client bookkeeping functions, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, bank reconciliations, payroll, journal entries, and reporting.
• Deep experience in full-charge bookkeeping, with multiple clients, and solid knowledge of basic accounting principles.
• Create and interpret financial reports such as Balance Sheets, Profit and Loss, and cash flows.
• Understand the differences between cash and accrual accounting.
• Research and determine answers to questions or the best way to perform work on client systems.
• Performs other duties as requested.

Requirements

• 10+ years of bookkeeping experience.
• Experience using bookkeeping software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, FreshBooks, Sage, NetSuite, Wave, Intacct, Procore).
• Proficient in Google Workspace, Slack, and Asana (or similar).
• Two-year accounting degree preferred.
• Credentials/Certifications such as QB Pro Certification are helpful.
• High degree of customer service, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
• Keen problem-solving skills, critical thinking, and focus.
• Active listening skills and positive language use.
• Proficient with technology and software.
• Dependable work ethic.
• Quiet, distraction-free workspace with reliable internet connection.
