BWRX-300 Technical & Mechanical Training Instructor 2

Serves as a senior technical instructor responsible for the delivery, development, and continuous improvement of licensed and non-licensed operations training programs for BWRX-300 technology, applying the Systematic Approach to Training (SAT).

Location: Remote

Salary: $93,500.00 - $155,900.00 USD annually, plus potential performance bonus/variable incentive/equity

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the design and development of the Maintenance – Mechanical Initial Training Program for BWR/ABWR/BWRX-300 technology.
• Contribute to the design and development of the Maintenance – Mechanical Continuing Training Program.
• Oversee quality and maintenance of training analysis, job & task analysis, training matrices, curriculum, evaluation strategies, and training materials.
• Ensure instructional quality of maintenance training programs for BWR, ABWR, BWRX-300, and similar technologies.
• Represent GEH training in internal, customer, and regulatory venues.
• Support management and delivery of training programs with other BWRX-300 GTP personnel.
• Deliver Mechanical cross-training to other GTP personnel.
• Lead/support training program reviews for effectiveness, continuous improvement, and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with other training and business units to support fleet services.
• Perform special assignments as directed by the Training Manager/Leader.

Requirements

• Mechanical Instructor Certification/Qualification (BWR).
• Mechanical trade certification/qualification or USN Nuclear Mechanical Certification/Qualification (Machinist Mate) or Associate Degree Nuclear Maintenance Technician or College Mechanical Technologist/Technician or equivalent experience in the nuclear power industry.
• Minimum of 5 years training experience in the nuclear power industry.
• Knowledge of the Systematic Approach to Training (SAT).
• Previous certification as a classroom instructor at an NPP.
• Previous certification as an OJT/OJE or TPE at NPP.
• Knowledge of Nuclear Maintenance and related training including Corrective and Preventative Maintenance programs.
• Excellent technical communication skills in English.
• Ability to deliver technical training effectively.
• Personal integrity with handling proprietary and complex technical information.
• Organized, proactive, able to perform under pressure, set priorities, meet deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal, planning, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to operate MS Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, Adobe Acrobat.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
