Case Worker

Support for Cencora's patient and provider support and pharma commercialization services in Canada, focusing on case management, customer support, and market research in the pharmaceutical field.

Location: Canada

Salary: $41,800 CAD - $64,350 CAD

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned projects and cases.
• Adhere to company processes.
• Provide telephone support to patients, healthcare professionals, and funding bodies, focusing on funding, access issues, and compliance programs.
• Administer and follow case-management protocols, including clinical monitoring, data collection, patient follow-up, compliance, therapy monitoring, adverse event reporting, and liaising with healthcare providers.
• Implement pharmaceutical and biotech market research initiatives with professionals.
• Conduct outbound calls as part of patient programs.
• Document activities in specific databases.
• Participate in ongoing training and specialized courses.
• Provide feedback on protocols, databases, and processes.
• Communicate effectively with managers and colleagues during absences.
• Participate in training of new caseworkers.
• Report adverse events.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Broad training in business administration, accountancy, sales, marketing, computer sciences, or similar fields, generally obtained through a two-year associate's degree or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of one year experience in customer service.
• Bilingual in French and English is an asset.
• Ability to multitask.
• Attention to detail.
• Strong problem-solving skills.
• Experience in the medical and pharmaceutical field is an asset.
• Working knowledge of Word, Excel, and Outlook.
