Chief Executive Officer

The Merchant Risk Council (MRC) is a leading global not-for-profit membership association serving the payments, fraud prevention, and digital commerce ecosystem. It is seeking a Chief Executive Officer to lead its strategic growth, member engagement, and industry influence.

Location: United States

Salary: $425,000 (Base + Annual Bonus)

Responsibilities

• Define MRC's next three-to-five-year strategy in collaboration with the Global Board of Directors.
• Strengthen member value by expanding engagement, elevating flagship conferences, and fostering professional connections.
• Advance public policy initiatives, strengthen relationships with regulators and industry leaders, and position MRC as a trusted voice.
• Lead a high-performing global organization by cultivating an engaged culture, strengthening leadership, and building partnerships.
• Leverage emerging technologies, including Artificial Intelligence, to enhance member experience, operational effectiveness, and organizational success.
