Child & Community Impact Narrative & Data Specialist

The role involves defining and driving the strategic evolution of impact intelligence systems for World Vision, focusing on child and community impact data to enhance sponsor engagement and storytelling globally.

Location: Remote (Global)

Responsibilities

• Design and implement impact intelligence frameworks connecting child sponsorship data, programme outcomes, and storytelling.
• Support sponsor engagement, acquisition, and retention through high-quality data and automated storytelling solutions.
• Lead cross-functional collaboration to improve impact data frameworks and transition from static reporting to dynamic, data-driven storytelling.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Engineering, Mathematics, International Development, or equivalent.
• 7+ years’ experience in data transformation, automation, data science, statistics, engineering, or mathematics.
• Experience developing end-to-end data pipelines or automating data tasks.
• Experience leading enterprise-scale data, digital transformation, or impact intelligence initiatives.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders across technical, marketing, product, and operational functions.
• Experience in prompt engineering for generative AI, AI output validation, and applying AI/ML to data products or content generation.
• Experience translating data into compelling narratives and digital storytelling.
• Experience working across cultures and organizational structures.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and innovation skills.
• High attention to detail and ability to work with technical and marketing teams.
