Clinical Trial Manager II, IQVIA Biotech

The Clinical Trial Manager II at IQVIA Biotech is responsible for managing clinical trial delivery, ensuring compliance with regulatory and customer requirements, leading clinical teams, and supporting project success in oncology and global clinical research.

Location: Mexico City, Mexico

Responsibilities

• Ensure clinical delivery of assigned projects in compliance with regulatory requirements, customer requirements, and internal policies.
• Meet recruitment targets and develop recruitment strategies.
• Develop and manage project risk mitigation plans and clinical risks.
• Ensure clinical quality delivery and monitor quality standards.
• Manage clinical aspects of project finances, including Estimate at Completion (EAC).
• Identify and manage clinical stakeholders and communicate effectively.
• Support milestone achievements and report to stakeholders.
• Manage clinical team resourcing and talent planning, conduct team meetings, and support professional development.
• Contribute to clinical delivery strategy development for proposals and participate in bid defense.
• Mentor and coach peers, work as a primary Clinical Lead on large trials, and attend site visits as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in healthcare or a scientific discipline.
• 5 years of clinical research/monitoring experience or equivalent.
• Basic knowledge of project management practices and terminology.
• Good knowledge of GCP and ICH guidelines.
• Broad protocol and therapeutic knowledge.
• Understanding of clinical research industry and relevant environments.
• Understanding of project finances.
• Knowledge of clinical trial conduct and regulatory requirements.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Problem solving, organization, and prioritization skills.
• Attention to detail and results-oriented approach.
• Good influencing, negotiation, judgment, and decision-making skills.
• Mentoring and training skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
