Cloud Operations Analyst

The role is for a Cloud Operations Engineer at Illumio, a cybersecurity company specializing in Zero Trust security solutions. The position involves managing releases, resolving technical issues, incident management, automation, and collaboration across global teams.

Responsibilities

• Ensure releases are done as per plan and communicate progress to stakeholders.
• Resolve technical issues and escalations at infrastructure and application levels.
• Lead, facilitate, and manage Incident bridge.
• Provide scheduled on-call services for emergency changes.
• Participate in site incident troubleshooting and triage.
• Work directly with developers to fix technical issues and engage relevant teams.
• Improve existing processes and automate using new tools and scripts.
• Work on different projects, provide status updates, and meet stakeholder expectations.
• Define and improve release and deployment processes.
• Manage releases and deployments across multiple stacks and ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners across time zones.

Requirements

• 5+ years of total experience with a bachelor’s degree.
• Solid knowledge of Linux OS (Ubuntu, RHEL, OEL7).
• Application support and debugging in a fast-paced production environment.
• Knowledge/Experience of Incident Management.
• Network basics and troubleshooting skills.
• Load balancers / Traffic manager knowledge.
• Virtualization and Containerization knowledge.
• Good understanding of production deployment and distributed environments.
• Proficiency in shell and Python programming.
• Knowledge of GIT, Jira, and Jenkins (preferred).
• 4+ years in a production support role in a fast-paced industry.
