Commercial Account Manager

Forcepoint is a leading private cybersecurity company providing cloud-native security solutions. They are seeking a driven and passionate Account Manager to handle new and existing business within a specific geographical region, focusing on cybersecurity solutions.

Location: Remote Michigan/Ohio

Salary: 200,000.00 - 220,000.00

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for new account development through business-to-business sales of Forcepoint software licensing, appliances, and services to accounts.
  • Develop and implement customer account and opportunity plans in support of company goals and quota objectives.
  • Engage sales resources including SE, Channel, Solutions Sales teams, and Executives on customer account plans.
  • Use the CRM system effectively for development, management, and closure of forecasted opportunities.
  • Manage and drive revenue through complex, multiple go-to-market strategies.
  • Execute complex sales and manage the sales process and activities.
  • Manage 150-300 prospect accounts.
  • Account tiering time management.
  • Meet or exceed sales quota.
  • Negotiate and exchange information with all levels of management.

Requirements

  • University degree preferred and 5-7 years of sales experience or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven Cyber Security experience, including Cloud Security, Network Security, and account management.
  • Previous experience with accounts under 2000 employees.
  • Proven sales record of consistent achievement against quota.
  • Experience presenting to C-level/executive contacts.
  • Experience working with the Channel and developing business directly.
  • Ability to partner and engage with internal sales resources and external partners.
  • Familiarity with sales methodologies such as MEDDPICC.
  • Structured working style with good time-management skills.
  • Experience across various vertical markets.
  • Good analytical and forecasting skills.
  • Excellent presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
