Consultant - R&D Advisory - US

This role is for a Consultant in R&D Advisory within the life sciences sector, focusing on improving R&D organizations and operations for clients in the pharmaceutical and biotech industries. The position involves working with senior stakeholders, developing proposals, and supporting business development.

Location: Remote, United States

Salary: $122,000–$135,000/yr

Responsibilities

• Work with senior customer stakeholders to comprehend the customer’s business goals, processes, operations, and expectations
• Develop customer proposals, demonstrating a clear understanding of the needs and objectives, approach and solution, plus the commercial construct to deliver projects
• Develop engagement strategies and plans and present findings and recommendations to team members
• Conduct quality management oversight of project deliverables
• Develop content to leverage in business development opportunities with prospective customers
• Actively build networks of customers by utilizing social media, attending seminars and conferences, and through referrals

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or business
• Extensive experience in consulting management in the life sciences, pharmaceutical/biotech consulting industry or equivalent industry role
• Experience working in one or more R&D operational roles either in industry or consulting
• Engagement management experience
• Strong presentation and business development skills
