Contract Database Support SME

OCT Consulting is seeking a Contract Database Support SME to support Federal Government clients, focusing on database management, reporting, and system migration using modern tools like SQL Server, SharePoint Online, and Power BI.

Location: Remote

Salary: $90,000 - $115,000 yearly

Responsibilities

• Design and update database structures, forms, queries, and dashboards using SQL Server, SharePoint Online, and Power Platform.
• Conduct functional and regression testing of database modifications.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation for database objects, workflows, and user guidance.
• Develop and refine reports, queries, and dashboards using Power BI and other analytics tools.
• Assist in migration to a new contract writing and financial management system, including creating a legacy data repository.
• Provide troubleshooting and advisory support for database-related issues.
• Extract and validate contract and procurement data for accuracy and completeness.
• Produce recurring reports and conduct trend analyses on obligations, expenditures, and contract actions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field.
• 10+ years experience in database support roles.
• Proficiency in SQL Server, including query writing and database design.
• Highly proficient in Microsoft 365 applications (Excel, Power BI).
• Proficiency in SharePoint Online.
• Experience with Power BI and analytics tools for reporting and dashboards.
• Ability to obtain and maintain required security clearance.

Additional Information

• Fully remote position with camera use during Microsoft Teams meetings when directed.
• Salary range: $90,000 - $115,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
