Contract Manager

Seeking a Contract Manager with experience in healthcare contracting, regulatory guidelines, and negotiation within outpatient healthcare settings. The role involves managing contracts, reimbursement policies, and maintaining relationships with payors.

Location: United States

Salary: $75,000–$80,000/yr

Responsibilities

• Identify and negotiate key terms and reimbursement within contracts.
• Understand contracting within closed networks.
• Summarize and calculate payment/reimbursement policies.
• Manage contracts with payors and other stakeholders.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business/finance/Math preferred or equivalent work experience.
• 3-5 years' contracting experience including Managed Care, WC, Replacements & Auto lines of business.
• Prefer experience & established relationships with payors.
• Outpatient Therapy Experience preferred.
• Proficient in identifying, summarizing and calculating payment/reimbursement policies.
• Advanced MS Excel, MS Access & credentialing software experience a plus.
• Effective project management skills.
• Critical analytical thinking, problem solving, organization and time management skills.
• Excellent administrative, analytical, organizational, verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
