Customer Support Specialist

Datatrans, a leading Swiss Payment Service Provider, is seeking a Customer Support Specialist to assist clients with online payment solutions, APIs, and security standards. The role involves technical support, customer education, and teamwork in a flexible, innovative environment.

Location: Zürich

Responsibilities

• Becoming a key information source for customers regarding Payment Gateway and APIs, supporting shop integrations, and advising on best practices in online payments.
• Serving as the first contact for customers on technical and operational questions, and using expertise to improve customer solutions.
• Helping merchants understand the benefits of the solution and supporting them with security requirements and policies.
• Supporting the team in daily business to overcome challenges and grow together.

Requirements

• Practical experience in the Payment or Fintech industry, working with e-commerce platforms or online merchants.
• Affinity for internet technologies (HTML, JavaScript, APIs, etc.) or programming experience.
• Ability to prioritize tasks based on urgency, necessity, and requirements, with quick comprehension and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in German, English, and French, with strong communication skills.
• Completed apprenticeship in computer science or media technology, with understanding of business processes or vice versa.
