Responsibilities

  • Design and implement modern data architectures using Databricks as the core platform.
  • Build and manage scalable Data Lakes, ETL/ELT pipelines, and data integration processes.
  • Develop solutions for processing large volumes of structured and unstructured data.
  • Design data models optimized for analytics, BI, and AI-driven applications.
  • Implement data ingestion, transformation, and data quality processes.
  • Optimize performance, scalability, and cost efficiency of Databricks workloads and pipelines.
  • Collaborate with AI/ML teams to enable datasets and pipelines for intelligent agents and AI systems.
  • Define and implement data engineering standards, governance, and best practices.
  • Integrate multiple data sources through APIs, databases, and external systems.
  • Implement monitoring, observability, and automation for data processes.
  • Support BI and analytics teams with reliable and scalable data solutions.
  • Document architectures, pipelines, and technical processes.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.
  • Strong hands-on and production-level experience with Databricks.
  • Proven experience designing and implementing Data Lakes and modern data architectures.
  • Strong expertise in SQL and Python for data engineering.
  • Experience building scalable ETL/ELT pipelines.
  • Solid knowledge of Apache Spark and distributed data processing.
  • Experience handling large-scale datasets.
  • Strong understanding of data modeling for analytics and BI.
  • Experience working in cloud environments.
  • Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, and modern development workflows.
  • Ability to work independently in fast-paced startup environments.
  • Intermediate to Advanced English (B2+ / C1).
