Data Engineer - Healthcare

The Data Engineer 2 will develop scalable data processing architectures and solutions, working on diverse assignments involving artificial intelligence, machine learning, and big data techniques to transform data and enhance service delivery. The role reports to the Lead Data Engineer and involves interpreting data to determine appropriate actions.

Location: Remote (US)

Salary: $97,900 - $133,500 per year

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable data processing architectures and solutions.
• Ingest data from internal and external sources using cloud-native platforms.
• Apply industry-standard software development practices.
• Develop capabilities using AI, machine learning, and big data techniques.
• Contribute to departmental strategy and make technical decisions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, or related field.
• 2+ years' experience in data analysis or engineering.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications.
• Ability to assess complex data sets and conduct root cause analysis.
• Experience using data to improve outcomes and decisions.
• Can work in the EST time zone.
