The Director of DevOps will lead a DevOps team in a logistics technology company, focusing on automating development processes and managing infrastructure reliability.

Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire a DevOps team, driving excellence in project management, tool selection, mentoring, and developing DevOps practices.
- Manage complex tasks with minimal guidance, ensuring infrastructure components' reliability, adaptability, and resilience.
- Deliver high-quality products by understanding and addressing DevOps needs related to AWS and Azure.
- Collaborate closely with the DevOps team to implement tools, pipelines, and processes for continuous integration and delivery.
- Ensure the reliability, adaptability, and resilience of infrastructure components, including servers, databases, hosted services, load balancers.
- Participate in incident escalation and resolution, improving systems to guarantee service availability.
- Contribute to internal peer learning, sharing expertise in technologies.
- Lead onboarding for new DevOps team members and establish schedules and priorities.
- Play a role in HR recruitment to attract top DevOps talent.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of DevOps team management experience.
- At least 3 years managing Linux environments (Red Hat, CentOS, Debian, Ubuntu).
- Minimum 2 years in service-oriented architectures, SDLC, and CI/CD practices.
- Proficiency in Git, Terraform, Ansible.
- Knowledge of cloud and container concepts.
- Problem-solving skills, collaborative spirit, adaptability.
- Fluent in English; French is an asset.
- Determination, quick learning, high work ethic, leadership, solutions-oriented, team spirit, adaptability.
