DevOps Engineer (Automation Systems) - Freelance AI Trainer

Mindrift is seeking skilled DevOps / Automation Engineers (Infrastructure & Scaling) to join the Tendem project, focusing on building and maintaining scalable infrastructure for automation workflows within a hybrid AI + human environment. The role involves collaborating with Tendem Agents to ensure system reliability, performance optimization, and infrastructure support for high-load automation environments.

Location: Remote

Salary: Up to $60 per hour

Responsibilities

• Deploy and maintain self-hosted automation environments (e.g., n8n instances or similar systems).
• Design and manage infrastructure to support high-volume workflows and large-scale data processing.
• Scale automation systems to handle concurrent workloads and performance-intensive tasks.
• Set up monitoring, logging, and alerting systems to track workflow performance and detect failures.
• Implement alerts for critical events (e.g., node failures, performance drops, system instability).
• Ensure system uptime, reliability, and fault tolerance across automation pipelines.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of relevant experience in DevOps, infrastructure engineering, or backend system management.
• Strong experience with cloud platforms, server environments, and deployment workflows.
• Proven ability to maintain high-availability systems and scalable architectures.
• Experience setting up monitoring, logging, and alerting systems.
• Familiarity with containerization tools (Docker or similar).
• Understanding of system performance, scaling strategies, and fault tolerance.
• Experience supporting automation platforms and high-frequency workflows.
• English proficiency: Upper-intermediate (B2) or above.
