Responsibilities
- Research, analyze and predict expected (and foresee unexpected) market trends and shifts to provide end-user organizations and vendors with actionable insights.
- Remain ahead of the curve on developments and issues within the specified areas as well as applicable adjacent areas of emerging technologies.
- Collaboratively write and publish analysis and positions at a regular cadence through evidence-based research.
- Communicate complex concepts concisely and with authority via virtual or face-to-face interactions with senior-level executives.
- Present at multiple conferences as an industry expert.
- Partner with sales and service delivery partners to increase account growth, retention, and engagement.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; graduate degree preferred.
- 12+ years of experience in enterprise networking, AI-driven network operations, or related IT domains, including hands-on exposure to the integration of AI and automation within large-scale enterprise network environments.
- Expertise in agentic AI models and AI‑enabled network architectures, including autonomous remediation, intent-based networking, policy orchestration, and AI-driven network optimization.
- Knowledge of agentic AI networking offerings from established vendors (e.g., Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto Networks and HPE) and emerging vendors (e.g., Aviz Networks, Selector.AI, Linkeye.ai, NetPrompt.ai, and Nanites.ai).
- Ability to analyze and articulate technology and business adoption scenarios, helping senior IT leaders understand the opportunities, risks, and implementation paths for emerging AI-centric networking technologies.
- Deep knowledge of enterprise networking technologies, including WAN connectivity, network architecture/design, network security principles, and strong familiarity with data center networking and cloud edge architectures.
- Strong working knowledge of SASE, SSE, NaaS, SD‑WAN, and evolving cloud connectivity paradigms.
- Understanding of networking‑specific security frameworks, including Zero‑Trust principles, identity-driven policy enforcement, and AI-enhanced detection and response models.
- Familiarity with global service provider offerings, major vendor ecosystems, and emerging AI‑native networking platforms and startups.
- Broad understanding of market and technology drivers, including cloud migration, distributed enterprise, edge computing, application modernization, and the evolving role of AI agents in autonomous enterprise infrastructure.
