Director, Growth Creative

Seeking a senior creative leader to drive growth through innovative, data-driven creative strategies across digital channels for Instacart's in-house agency.

Location: Remote

Salary: $194,000–$245,000 USD (varies by location)

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a world-class creative team across performance design and copy.
• Own performance creative direction across Paid and CRM channels to unlock growth and reduce acquisition costs.
• Drive AI-led transformation by integrating AI and automation into creative workflows.
• Architect the creative engine for scale, designing workflows, pipelines, and systems for high-volume ad production.
• Scale creative globally, delivering locally relevant creative across international markets.
• Partner with Growth leadership to align creative strategy with media and analytics insights.
• Champion collaboration and culture within creative teams to foster innovation, experimentation, and high performance.

Requirements

• 10+ years leading creative teams in performance marketing, growth, or digital advertising.
• At least 5 years managing multi-disciplinary teams at scale.
• Proven experience building and scaling large in-house creative organizations supporting high-volume performance advertising.
• Deep understanding of performance creative dynamics across Meta, TikTok, YouTube, Search, CRM, In-App, and emerging channels.
• Ability to design workflows, systems, and processes that unlock speed, operational efficiency, and creative excellence.
• Experience integrating AI tools and automation platforms into creative production.
• Experience leading global creative operations, including localization strategies.
