Director, Operations, Earnings Excellence

Lead the transformation of global Earnings Operations for the Spark Driver Program, architecting and scaling end-to-end processes for contractor earnings to ensure accuracy, compliance, and operational excellence. This role involves shaping enterprise standards and driving innovation at the intersection of finance, technology, and the gig economy.

Salary: $110,000.00 - $220,000.00 per year

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of global contractor earnings operations, designing and implementing strategies, systems, and standards that ensure payments are accurate, timely, and fully compliant with regulatory requirements across multiple markets.
• Drive process standardization and operational excellence by developing comprehensive SOPs, establishing performance metrics, and leveraging automation and emerging technologies to improve efficiency and reduce errors at scale.
• Partner cross-functionally with technology, finance, and compliance teams to ensure that earnings processes are fully aligned with organizational strategy, maintaining a proactive approach to industry and regulatory changes.
• Implement robust data governance by defining master data strategies, setting metadata standards, and collaborating to ensure contractor earnings data is accurate, transparent, and secure.
• Provide inspirational leadership and direction for a high-performing team, focusing on coaching, development, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement and service excellence for both internal and external stakeholders.

Requirements

• At least 12 years of progressive experience in contractor earnings operations or financial disbursements, with a minimum of 5 years in a senior leadership capacity managing large-scale, complex operations.
• Deep expertise in contractor compliance—including U.S. and global reporting—and a strong track record of implementing or optimizing technology solutions that support operational scalability and regulatory adherence.
• Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional initiatives involving data governance, compliance, and technology, with the ability to solve complex problems and implement sustainable, enterprise-wide improvements.
• Strong operational excellence mindset, with hands-on experience using methodologies like Lean or Six Sigma to standardize workflows, drive measurable improvements, and minimize organizational risk.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence at all levels, build effective partnerships, and drive a culture rooted in integrity, ethics, and continuous improvement.
