Dispatch Operations Intern

The Dispatch Operations team at Voltus focuses on delivering megawatts to the grid during critical times by activating customer portfolios across North America. The role involves hands-on dispatch event management, customer interaction, and strategic project contributions, ideal for someone passionate about energy operations and the energy transition.

Location: Remote (US)

Salary: $41,600 – $52,000

Responsibilities

• Be a reliable team player during live dispatch events, analyzing situations and providing coaching through calls and texts.
• Serve as a real-time resource for Voltus customers during grid emergencies, delivering clear, actionable guidance.
• Monitor customer load curtailment in real time, flag underperforming sites, diagnose issues, and coach customers to meet MW commitments.
• Become an expert on demand response programs across North America and support customers and internal teams.
