Distributed Systems Engineer

RTB House is a global company providing advanced marketing technologies, including a proprietary ad-buying engine powered by Deep Learning algorithms. The company is seeking a Software Engineer to work on the Bidding Platform Team, supporting over 24 million queries per second with low latency.

Location: Poland

Responsibilities

• Design and programming of system modules supporting over 24M queries per second and low latency
• Work on optimization of software in response time and resource consumption
• Ensure reliability and scalability of solutions
• Create performance and correctness tests for new system components
• Analyze new technologies for production applicability
• Develop tools for monitoring and analyzing production system operation
• Continuous optimization of existing tools and processes

Requirements

• Proficiency in programming
• Excellent understanding of complex IT systems (hardware, software, algorithms)
• Very good knowledge of Internet protocols (DNS, HTTP, cookies, etc.)
• Knowledge of creating concurrent programs and distributed systems
• Ability to observe, monitor, and analyze production systems
• Critical analysis of solutions for performance issues
• Knowledge of high scalability and high availability issues
• C1 level in English and Polish
