Mercor is seeking an Economics Chart Analysis Expert to evaluate AI model performance on economics problems by authoring and reviewing technical tasks.

Salary: $75–$83/hour

Responsibilities

• Author and review technical tasks to evaluate AI model performance on economics problems.

Requirements

• PhD in Economics
• MS/MA in Economics with 3+ years of experience
• BA/BS in Economics with 5+ years of experience
• Working fluency in at least two of: micro, macro, econometrics, industrial organization, labor economics, development
• Comfortable interpreting economic charts, econometric output, policy figures, and time-series plots
• Clear technical writing skills with the ability to articulate reasoning step-by-step
