Employee Relations Specialist

The Employee Relations Specialist will work with HRBP and legal teams to assess and resolve employee relations issues, ensuring consistency and promoting a positive culture.

Location: Brazil

Responsibilities

• Counsel and assist employees and management on employee or management issues including performance management, legal issues, investigations, terminations, conflict management.
• Partner with HRBPs to address performance concerns, review performance expectations, and advise on actions.
• Collect, analyze, and report on Employee Relations data and trends.
• Collaborate on continuous improvement initiatives and special projects.
• Conduct investigations on policy violations, complaints, discrimination, bullying, and hostile work environment.
• Make recommendations post-investigation to HRBPs and leaders.
• Assist in developing and communicating HR policies and procedures.
• Interpret policies for employees, managers, and HR.
• Monitor employee engagement and suggest improvements.
• Support employees with accommodations, leaves, and return-to-work processes.
• Manage relations with labor unions and support collective bargaining.
• Serve as a subject matter expert on compliance and employment legislation.
• Advise management on employment law and relations trends.
• Lead and manage investigations related to discrimination, harassment, and bullying.
• Support contested matters in labor courts.
• Support other regions as needed.

Requirements

• Senior experience in Employee Relations.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business or related field.
• Working knowledge of employment laws in Brazil.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
