Leap is a fast-growing benefits solutions provider specializing in employer specialty pharmacy, focusing on delivering and financing high-cost therapies fairly and transparently. They partner with Fortune 500 companies and TPAs to improve healthcare costs, access, and care.

Location: San Francisco, United States

Salary: $140K - $190K

Responsibilities

• Define Leap’s patient-facing design standard across marketing, onboarding, education, therapy support, and reactivation.
• Design the end-to-end member journey to improve clarity, reduce friction, and enhance engagement.
• Build scalable design systems including reusable patterns, components, templates, QA processes, and workflows across various channels.
• Improve member activation through high-performing creative campaigns across direct mail, email, landing pages, paid ads, and funnels.
• Simplify healthcare complexity into responsible, understandable experiences without oversimplification or causing anxiety.
• Act as a creative lead and hands-on maker, shaping briefs, guiding visual systems, and producing polished assets.

Requirements

• A broad designer with strong patient/customer experience judgment, experienced in lifecycle marketing, member engagement, or patient education.
• Strong product, UX, and research instincts, capable of mapping journeys, structuring information, and translating insights into better experiences.
• Experience in direct-response and growth design, with success measured by conversion, activation, or response rates.
• Excellent visual design craft, message hierarchy, and ability to guide attention and drive action.
• Experience building systems, reusable patterns, templates, and workflows for scalable creative output.
• Fluency in print, digital, and modern production, including working with vendors and channel owners.
• Ability to direct outside creative talent, manage projects, and maintain quality and brand consistency.
• Comfort with complexity, ambiguity, and designing in regulated, emotionally sensitive environments.
