Fund Accountant Associate

The Associate, Fund Accountant role is for experienced professionals in investment management, focusing on operational functions and client support within the alternative investment industry.

Location: Philippines

Salary: Up to 100,000 PHP per month

Responsibilities

• Support multiple clients in a high energy environment.
• Deliver exceptional client service through proactive communication.
• Demonstrate understanding of key operational functions including trade confirmation/settlement, fails management, P&L reconciliation, corporate actions, cash/position reconciliation, broker onboarding, and data integrity.
• Participate in virtual calls with US/UK offices to support clients during their local hours.
• Act as a key point of contact for operational queries, interacting with clients, brokers, and internal teams.
• Learn and adhere to company risk parameters, policies, and procedures.
• Assist team members with resolving complex issues.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in the alternative Investment Management industry (Hedge Fund, Private Equity, Venture Capital, Cryptocurrency).
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Finance/Business or equivalent certification in Philippines.
• CPA or equivalent accounting certification in Philippines.
• Strong understanding of investment products, financial markets, and investment operations processes.
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, oral, and written communication skills.
• Strong accounting and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Sage Intacct, QuickBooks, Xero, and Portfolio Management Systems.
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
