General Liability Claims Team Lead

The role is for a General Liability Claims Team Lead at Sedgwick, responsible for supervising multiple teams handling liability claims, providing technical direction, and maintaining client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Supervises multiple teams of examiners and technical staff for liability claims.
• Identifies and advises management on trends, problems, and process improvements.
• Provides technical and jurisdictional direction on claims adjudication.
• Performs quality reviews on claims and acts as second level of appeal.
• Reviews reserve amounts on high cost and complex claims.
• Maintains contact with clients and promotes professional relationships.
• Ensures claims files are properly coded and documented.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred.
• Six (6) years of claims experience or equivalent, including two (2) years of claims supervisor experience.
• Licenses as required; professional certifications preferred.
