Global Head of Alliances

The Global Head of Alliances at DoiT is a leadership role responsible for managing and motivating a worldwide team of Alliance Managers, with a focus on revenue growth through strategic partnerships, especially with AWS.

Location: Remote in the United States, preferably in the East Region

Responsibilities

  • Establish and manage global execution plan with AWS contributing to pipeline, bookings, and revenue goals
  • Assist in launching and executing DoiT’s PartnerOps go-to-market strategy
  • Lead relationships with strategic ISVs such as Anthropic, Snowflake, etc.
  • Roll out KPIs and coach team to meet those KPIs
  • Oversee day-to-day team operations and performance
  • Motivate team members and provide regular performance feedback
  • Identify training needs and coach on DoiT processes and sales skills
  • Deliver against business targets aligned with AWS and DoiT’s strategic cloud alliance
  • Handle deal-related challenges, deal reviews, and discount approvals for the team
  • Lead regional Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR) with AWS
  • Maintain and develop strategic vendor relations with AWS
  • Listen to team feedback and resolve issues or conflicts

Requirements

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience in selling through alliance partnerships, with prior sales leadership preferred
  • Experience as an Alliance Manager for CSPs like AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure
  • Deep understanding of partner roles and responsibilities
  • Strong knowledge of the public cloud market and ecosystem
  • Detail-oriented with a bias for action and ownership
  • Positive, coachable, and upbeat personality
  • Excellent relationship management skills with senior leaders
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and develop new strategies
  • Self-starter capable of working independently and in teams
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%
  • Experience in fast-paced environments managing diverse stakeholders
  • Entrepreneurial, creative, passionate, approachable
  • Strong networking skills and ability to build influential relationships
  • Self-organized, goal-oriented, confident, thorough, and tenacious
