Graphic Designer

JerseySTEM is a mission-driven professional network of pro-bono contributors dedicated to improving access to STEM education and career pathways for underserved middle school girls in New Jersey. Members contribute their professional skills and leverage their networks in service of the organization’s gender-equity agenda. The role involves designing graphic and visual content for a non-profit organization focused on STEM education for middle school students.

Responsibilities

• Be able to design compelling graphic and visual content.
• Prepare rough layouts of artwork for presentation and approval.
• Use creative skills in Photoshop and Illustrator to create marketing collaterals.

Requirements

• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Proficiency in digital platforms.
• Dependency and commitment to the job
• Demonstrate a passion for kids, education, and graphic designing
• Must be extremely tech savvy.
• Past experience(s) in Graphic Design. Applicants must submit a portfolio
• Minimum of 5-10 hours per week commitment is preferred.
• This is a virtual position. You will be expected to still maintain high levels of communication with team members while working remotely.
