Head of Marketing

We’re seeking a hands-on, operationally minded marketing manager to own the day-to-day execution and performance of marketing across all of Solé’s channels—Online Sales, Retail Sales, & Corporate / B2B Sales. You’ll build systems, run outreach, manage paid media and creative resources, and be accountable for revenue growth. Fully remote, but must be available during PST business hours.

Responsibilities
- Own the overall marketing calendar and execution across all channels.
- Build and run repeatable marketing systems with documented SOPs.
- Oversee and manage paid media performance (Meta, Google Ads).
- Lead and optimize email and SMS marketing via Klaviyo.
- Run cold outreach for marketing initiatives, build lists, write sequences, manage follow-up.
- Coordinate retail marketing for Venice Beach and Encinitas stores.
- Support corporate / B2B marketing through targeted campaigns and outreach.
- Monitor and analyze performance data using Shopify, GA4, Windsor.ai, and Klaviyo.
- Coordinate with creative resources to ensure campaigns are visually compelling.
- Manage merchandising updates, collection launches, and on-site content.
- Lead weekly performance reviews with leadership team.
- Tackle new marketing projects and tests.
- Collaborate in a remote environment via Slack and other tools.
Requirements
- 3+ years in a full-stack marketing, marketing ops, or growth role, ideally with a DTC, e-commerce, or omnichannel lifestyle brand.
- Proven experience managing external paid media teams or agencies, focusing on ROAS, CAC, and LTV.
- Multi-channel mindset—comfortable with DTC, retail, and B2B audiences.
- Strong outbound skills—writing cold emails, building prospect lists, running outreach sequences.
- Process-builder mentality—document processes, create SOPs.
- Hands-on experience with Klaviyo, Shopify, Meta Ads Manager, Google Ads, GA4, Slack, Windsor.ai or similar platforms.
- Strong strategic thinking and execution skills across digital and offline channels.
- Numerate—able to analyze data, build reports, and make recommendations.
- Fluent in English with excellent communication skills.
- Preferred: Graphic design experience or managing creative teams; affinity for the Solé brand, bikes, or beach/lifestyle culture.
