Labcorp is seeking an Inside Sales Manager to support the West Coast sales team, focusing on client engagement, lead generation, and sales growth within the life sciences and healthcare sectors.

Location: Remote (US)

Salary: $75,000 - $90,000

Responsibilities

  • Achieves quarterly and annual lead generation goals.
  • Leverages social selling techniques and tools to reach clients.
  • Develops sales cadence and follows up on leads.
  • Collaborates with Business Development Directors and targets prospects.
  • Uses prospecting tools to support efforts.
  • Sells the business unit’s capabilities and differentiation frameworks.
  • Maintains contact with clients to grow relationships.
  • Transfers opportunities and client information to Business Development Directors.
  • Handles inbound client calls and qualifies leads.
  • Establishes and manages customer expectations.
  • Proactively asks questions to understand client needs.
  • Collaborates with company resources to achieve customer satisfaction.
  • Uses SFDC to manage communication and documentation.
  • Manages opportunity pipeline and forecasting.
  • Discusses weekly sales activity with manager.
  • Submits expense reports timely.
  • Supports client visits.
  • Grows client relationships and identifies sales opportunities.
  • Collaborates with other business units for cross-selling.
  • Leverages marketing and operational resources for leads.
  • Contacts clients for cross-selling and updates.
  • Shares intelligence on competitors.
  • Reviews quotations and provides input.
  • Supports regional and industry events.
  • Assists in pricing strategy.
  • Mentors new Inside Sales Managers.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science in Biology, Life Sciences, Business Management, Healthcare Management.
  • 2+ years of experience in clinical research, business development, or medical sales.
  • Familiarity with non-clinical research regulations (GLP/ICH) or drug development processes.
  • Proficiency with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce) and data management systems.

Additional Information

  • Work schedule: Monday through Friday, travel up to 5%.

  • Additional qualifications include sales KPIs, interpersonal skills, market analysis, time management, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Salesforce.
