It-Security Manager BCM

The role involves managing and developing information security management systems, conducting risk assessments, and overseeing IT security systems within a municipal government context.

Location: Dresden, Germany

Responsibilities

  • Conception, development, and continuous improvement of management systems for information security and compliance.
  • Identification and assessment of risks for business processes and IT systems.
  • Conducting Business Impact Analyses (BIA) for critical processes.
  • Development and maintenance of emergency and recovery plans.
  • Collaboration with the ISMS security organization.
  • Participation in risk analysis and management.
  • Creation and updating of organizational regulations, especially information security policies.
  • Analysis and documentation of security incidents and deriving necessary measures.
  • Development and implementation of awareness and training measures on information security.
  • Monitoring, performance optimization, and KPI development.
  • Documentation of IT security infrastructure.
  • Preparation and maintenance of operational, deployment, and transition manuals.

Requirements

  • Diploma (FH), Bachelor (FH or university), or comparable qualification in computer science, business informatics, IT forensics, IT security, cyber security, or related fields.
  • Interest and sensitivity towards IT/cyber/information security.
  • Experience in information security is desirable.
  • Good knowledge of IT technologies and infrastructures.
  • Ability to work independently, conscientiously, and analytically.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills, customer-oriented.
  • Willingness to continue education.
  • Knowledge of administrative law is advantageous.
  • Willingness to undergo security clearance according to SÜG.
