ActiveState enables DevOps, InfoSec, and Development teams to improve their security posture while increasing productivity and innovation through vulnerability-free open source language packages, containers, and intelligent remediation. They are seeking a Junior Customer Success Manager to support and advocate for their growing customer base, helping users implement and adopt ActiveState's solutions, troubleshoot technical issues, and build strong relationships.
Location: Remote (North America)
Salary: CAD 75k–CAD 95k
Responsibilities
- Guide new customers through onboarding and help them implement ActiveState in their development environments.
- Ask technical questions, gather details, and communicate findings to engineering and product teams.
- Work with customers to understand and resolve technical challenges.
- Develop and maintain trust-based relationships with customer contacts.
- Assist with integrating ActiveState into existing CI/CD pipelines and tooling.
- Capture and communicate customer feedback internally.
- Contribute to team processes and onboarding/support playbooks.
- Help build and maintain knowledge base articles, guides, and best practices.
Requirements
- 1–3 years of experience in a customer-facing role (customer success, technical support, account management, or similar).
- Experience using AI tools in workflows (Claude, OpenAI, Manus, Perplexity).
- Experience using Salesforce and Jira.
- Interest in technology and software development workflows.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions is a strong asset.
- Basic exposure to cloud environments (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and APIs/system integrations.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational habits and follow-through.
- Customer-first mindset and enjoyment of helping people solve problems.
