Lead Credit and Collections Analyst

The role involves administering and overseeing credit and collection functions within a construction industry environment, focusing on compliance, record-keeping, and account management.

Location: New York, NY

Salary: $26.80–$40.70 Hourly

Responsibilities

• Ensures compliance with established guidelines, reviews and monitors credit sources, credit files, customer applications and delinquent accounts.
• Oversees the process of gathering, compiling, and maintaining basic credit information.
• Maintains records on credit risks, delinquent accounts and incomplete files.
• Sets up and/or obtains approval to set up new accounts and/or job accounts.
• Responds to all communications and requests for assistance from the branches in a timely manner.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in credit and collection functions.
• Commercial construction industry collection experience in the NY market - REQUIRED.
• Experience with Oracle and getpaid - Preferred.
• Lien and Bond claim experience.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience training, coaching, and developing team members.
• Experience following clearly defined policies and procedures.
• Good working with customers (potential for customer facing).
