Lead Project Manager, Operations - 1st Shift

The Lead Project Manager, Operations at GXO is responsible for supporting internal and external projects within a rapidly growing global logistics company, driving process improvements, managing project plans, and coaching junior project managers.
Location: United States
Responsibilities
- Create and manage project programs and plans with critical paths, dependencies, risk mitigation, and milestones
- Work with business leaders to identify and scope process improvement opportunities
- Develop customer presentations illustrating solutions and value propositions
- Identify opportunities through data collection and analysis
- Contribute to the creation of standard operating procedures
- Support customer onboarding and implementation for new business
- Document project requirements including current and future states and gap analysis
- Provide analytical, troubleshooting, training, or escalation support for new initiatives
- Monitor project health, review KPIs, and operational assumptions
- Participate in cross-team meetings to ensure coordination
- Provide project management expertise and coach junior project managers
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience
- 4 years of experience in project management within the Supply Chain or Logistics industry
- Experience leading cross functional teams
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
