Licensing Administrator, Copyright

The Licensing Administrator, Copyright at Warner Music Group is responsible for negotiating and securing licenses for musical compositions, supporting the company's music licensing operations, and collaborating with various departments to ensure proper licensing and royalty management.

Location: Remote (US)

Salary: $25.64 to $28.67 Hourly

Responsibilities

• Review, negotiate and secure mechanical and synchronization licenses and other publishing licenses.
• Research song titles and information about songwriters, music publishers, and rights societies.
• Confirm publishing splits and writer credits, and vendor/payee information.
• Compile information about musical compositions and enter into internal databases.
• Analyze and apply licensing and royalty provisions in agreements.
• Liaise with other departments and record labels to fulfill licensing tasks.
• Respond to inquiries from music publishers and rights administrators.
• Perform other duties as assigned by senior management.

• Ability to manage multiple assignments and prioritize effectively.
• Strong computer skills, including data entry and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
