Responsibilities
- Serve as an expert on Time & Attendance matters, assisting with complex projects and advising on employment law changes.
- Manage employee lifecycle events related to leave and working hours with accuracy and legal compliance.
- Advise on employment legislation and provide guidance on legal interpretations.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure compliance in employee lifecycle activities, including payroll, legal, and government bodies.
- Support HR and financial audits to ensure compliance with local employment regulations.
- Develop and update global internal documentation related to Time & Attendance.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and product development.
- Manage and maintain employee data and confidential information with professionalism.
- Promote Remote's values and contribute to team goals.
Requirements
- Proven experience managing employee lifecycle events with care, sensitivity, and legal compliance.
- Excellent communication, influencing, conflict management, and negotiation skills.
- Advanced proficiency in written and spoken English; additional languages a plus.
- Aptitude for innovating and optimizing processes, with a focus on automation.
- Efficiency in operations with thorough documentation and data integrity.
- Tech-savvy with ability to collaborate asynchronously and adapt to new systems.
- Ability to work independently and in a remote, fast-paced environment, with flexible hours.
- Familiarity with tools like Notion, Slack, Zendesk, G-suite.
- Enthusiasm for AI and its applications in operations and automation.
