Ignitionit.com, a seasoned Apple-first MSP with nearly 30 years of experience, is hiring a Help Desk Technician for a fully remote, work-from-home, full-time role. The position involves providing technical and human support to clients, primarily in Apple ecosystems, with opportunities for growth into infrastructure, security, and compliance roles.
Location: Remote (US)
Salary: $50,000–$65,000/yr (junior level, US applicants)
Responsibilities
- Configure devices, reset access, untangle email, and troubleshoot client issues.
- Onboard new hires with device provisioning and account setup.
- Offboard departing employees, recover devices, revoke access, and close support tickets.
- Handle support tickets related to email, DNS, security, and conference-room setups.
- Prioritize and triage support queue to ensure timely responses and client satisfaction.
Requirements
- Work standard business hours in Eastern or Pacific time zones.
- Have a quiet home workspace and reliable broadband.
- Proven Apple ecosystem aptitude.
- At least 2 years of IT support experience or demonstrable self-taught technical skills.
