Math Instructor (Ft) Remote - Nd

Location: Remote (US)

Salary: $21.00 – $24.00 per hour

Responsibilities

• Instruct small groups of students in math to promote understanding and high scores in college readiness exams (ACT & SAT).
• Track student progress through a multi-phase curriculum, engaging students in individualized growth opportunities.
• Model professionalism by replying promptly to students, maintaining lesson schedules, and holding students accountable for assignments.
• Develop and creatively execute evolving lesson plans and curriculum.
• Mentor middle and high school students with empathy, understanding the college application process.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in mathematics, education, or related STEM field (Master’s or higher preferred).
• Teaching experience in math and/or experience working in a college-level tutoring center (1+ years).
• GPA of 3.5 or higher.
• Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, and G-Suites.
• Access to reliable internet and a quiet workspace.
