Mental Health Therapist - Pediatric Experience - 1099 Contractor - Washington DC

Lyra Clinical Associates is seeking contract licensed telehealth therapists to join their clinical team, providing whole-person, whole family mental health care through a supportive provider platform that offers training and clinical consultation.

Location: Remote (US)

Responsibilities

• Provide evidence-based therapy to children, teens, and their families via telehealth.
• Engage families in the therapeutic process and adapt approaches to family dynamics.
• Coordinate with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, nurses, case managers, and wellness coaches.

Requirements

• Master’s degree from a clinical track (e.g., MSW, MFT, MC, MMHC).
• Unrestricted license (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LMHC, or equivalent) to work independently without supervision, with no disciplinary actions.
• Experience with evidence-based techniques such as CBT, DBT, ACT, MI, PMT, EMDR, and clinical best practices.
• Ability to work within a collaborative care framework.
• Ability to engage families and educate them on treatment goals.
• Adherence to documentation standards for assessments, treatment plans, and session notes.
• Comfort practicing telehealth via video, ensuring confidentiality and technical troubleshooting.
• Availability to meet clients in evenings or Saturdays.
• Full-time resident of the United States.
