Mid-Market Sales Engineer - US North East

As a Sales Engineer at Samsara, you’ll be part of a team modernizing essential industries through IoT solutions, impacting supply chain safety, efficiency, and sustainability.

Location: Remote (US, North East region, Eastern Time-Zone)

Salary: $95,795—$144,900 USD

Responsibilities

• Become an expert on Samsara products and their application in physical operations.
• Articulate how businesses use Samsara to solve industry challenges.
• Deliver work products such as discoveries, demonstrations, and proof of concept implementations.
• Guide installers through scenarios and deployment plans.
• Write scripts against open API to solve real-world problems and document them.
• Facilitate deeper account engagement through integration, upsell, and cross-sell.
• Act as a liaison between product and sales teams, translating technical feedback.
• Embed Samsara’s values and operating principles.

Requirements

• Bachelor's of Science degree from a 4-year accredited university.
• 2+ years experience in pre-sales, customer success, or customer/product support.
• Ability to influence stakeholders and understand business processes.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
• Experience managing hardware and/or software product evaluations.
• Basic understanding of electronics and electrical systems.
• Experience with technical consulting, cloud software, cloud-connected hardware, computer networking, business systems integration, automation, and control systems.
