Online Music Tutor - Part Time

Part-time remote online music tutor position for individuals passionate about music education and proficient in playing musical instruments. No prior tutoring experience required.

Location: Remote

Salary: £20–£40 per hour

Responsibilities

• Conduct virtual music lessons with students via online platforms, focusing on various instruments and musical styles.
• Provide personalized instruction and guidance to meet the individual learning needs of each student, adapting teaching methods to their level of proficiency.
• Offer support with instrument technique, music theory, sight-reading, and performance skills.
• Cover a wide range of musical instruments, including but not limited to: Piano/Keyboard, Guitar (acoustic, electric, bass), Violin, Drums/Percussion, Voice/Singing, Woodwind instruments (flute, clarinet, saxophone), Brass instruments (trumpet, trombone, French horn).
• Foster a positive and supportive learning environment that encourages creativity, confidence, and musical expression.

Requirements

• Proficiency in playing one or more musical instruments listed above.
• Ability to effectively communicate musical concepts and techniques to students of different ages and skill levels.
• Reliable internet connection and access to a computer or tablet with video conferencing capabilities.
• Enthusiasm for music education and a desire to help students develop their musical talents.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to motivate and inspire students to explore and enjoy music.
