The Operational Performance and Benchmarking Analytics Coordinator (OPBAC) supports hospital benchmarking activities by collecting data, producing reports, and ensuring data quality. The role involves internal training, external networking, and data management to improve organizational performance.

Responsibilities
- Timely and accurate submission of benchmarking data on a monthly or quarterly basis, including financial, payroll, and charge data.
- Creating awareness of the benchmarking process, serving as the contact for department managers, onboarding new managers, and training on reports.
- Networking with peer hospitals, interacting with vendors, and participating in learning opportunities.
- Maintaining comparison groups, coordinating with IT for data extracts, and troubleshooting user permission issues.
- Performing other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, hospital operations, or related field OR 6 years of relevant experience.
- 5 years of experience in benchmarking, decision support, or financial reporting.
- 5 years of experience in data analysis and presentation.
- 5 years of experience in a clinical setting or understanding of hospital/physician practice operations.
- 5 years of experience in the healthcare industry, especially hospitals or providers.
