Outpatient Facility Coder

Seeking an experienced Medical Coding Specialist to perform accurate coding for outpatient, surgery, and observation records, offering flexibility and remote work.

Responsibilities

• Perform accurate code assignments for facility outpatient, same day surgery, and observation records.

Requirements

• AHIMA or AAPC certification.
• Minimum of five years' outpatient coding experience in an acute care setting.
• Experience with ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding.
• Experience coding complex facility surgery procedures.
• Experience coding injections and infusions in observations setting.
• Technical competency with remote connectivity tools.
• Proficiency with office software including Outlook.
