Principal Financial Analyst

The Principal Financial Analyst at Prime Therapeutics is responsible for leading financial analysis, reporting, and modeling to support pricing, underwriting, and business decision-making within a healthcare PBM environment. The role involves collaboration with underwriters, management, and other departments to develop financial forecasts and strategic insights.

Location: Remote

Salary: $94,000–$160,000/yr

Responsibilities

• Collaborate as a subject matter expert (SME) with underwriters and senior management on pricing initiatives, data analyses, and the Request For Proposal (RFP) processes
• Lead and manage data analyses, reporting, and projections in support of PBM pricing processes
• Review complex pharmacy data to help investigate and answer challenging questions
• Provide strategic pricing advice on structures and methodology using market research, financial projections, and complex actuarial modeling
• Develop, summarize, and present financial forecasting results and impact analyses to clients and senior management
• Monitor the PBM environment in consideration of business impacts from government policies, market events, and healthcare trends
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Math, Actuarial Science, Economics, Accounting or Finance or related area of study, or equivalent combination of education and/or relevant work experience; HS diploma or GED is required
• 8 years of experience in programming, financial modeling, accounting and/or financial analysis
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without need for work visa or residency sponsorship
